Juliet has joined The Centre for Mentoring and Coaching as an associate following a rewarding career in housing management of 30 years, working her way up from the frontline to a senior leader in several Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Juliet led many strategic change programmes, implementing new service delivery models and engaging with major culture change programmes. She was noted for her results driven, clear focus, no-nonsense and solution focussed approach whilst bringing a very empathetic leadership style.

Juliet is now working as an executive coach with The Centre, enabling leaders and managers to achieve their organisational goals whilst finding a fulfilling work life balance. She has a particular interest in engaging organisations towards developing a culture of diversity and inclusiveness.

As a coach, Juliet brings a capacity to quickly make a safe learning space, where clients find themselves opening-up and exploring issues in a profound way. Juliet brings natural listening and inquiry skills and a drive to find solutions to small and large scale problems; her focus on action enables clients to make rapid and sustainable changes.

Juliet completed the Master’s module in coaching and mentoring provided by a partnership through the University of the West of England, Bristol and The Centre for Mentoring and Coaching. As a manager, she brought a coaching approach to her performance management, and mediation techniques to resolving conflicts.

Juliet’s personal journey through surviving a life-threatening illness helped to evolve and strengthen key skills. In particular the ability to seek out the positives when dealing with challenging and difficult situations. This ethos underpins her own approach to life and influences her coaching style.
